At a convention this summer I shook off the GM rust by GMing some Savage Worlds: Space 1889.
Seriously... if you love Savage Worlds and do not own this, you are doing yourself a serious disservice.
I put everything in my adventure that you could want. Space ships, intergalactic travel, giant apes, Mazes filled with traps, Ice castles on the moon. You name it, it was there.
The book is a fun read, and the one shots in the back are inspiring.
It felt good to be behind the screen and confident in my game. I didn't really have the time to playtest it, but I came prepared, props and all.
You know how great it is to just unleash your game and the players make it even more amazing. That is what happened here. This house convention has some amazing players, and after, to know that my players told the host that they had a great time in my game fills me with pride of a job well done.
But with Gorilla Queens and evil cultists... How can you not have fun?
